Nick Hello, Sorry it took me so long to respond. I just picked Nick up on Friday (May 23rd). It has only been a couple of days but everything is going well. Nick was, at first, rather nervous about his new home (as I had to carry him up the stairs to get to my apartment a couple of times). However, now he runs up the stairs without hesitation. He enjoys the walks we take and can't get enough of being pet. He seems to be happy, as am I. I will keep TBBR updated. Thanks. Nathan
Annabelle Things are going pretty well with Annabelle(Abby). We have had a few squabbles over food - she doesn't like Lucy to get too close when she is eating or when she has a bone or chewer. I called Rikkele because Abby got one of Lucy's chewers as soon as she got here and then snarled at Lucy when she came near her. She suggested just letting them have them when they are in their crates and that seems to be working okay. Lucy is a little jealous and Abby is a little skittish so we have some things to work on. My husband and brother already prefer Abby because she is so quiet and well mannered. Poor Lucy! Talk to you later! Emily **2nd Update** I thought you might like an update on Abby. She is doing great! We can't believe how easy this transition has been so far. She fits right into our family! She loves to go for walks with Lucy although she doesn't have quite as much energy! We did have to resort to giving Lucy some "calm down" pills for a few days - she was driving Abby insane. Now they get along wonderfully - most of the time. Lucy is just relentless in her desire to play and Abby has to let her know when she has had enough. Abby isn't startling as much as she used to and her tail isn't down all the time either. Both are pretty good signs I think! Thanks so much for all your help! Emily
Nellie Thanks again for making this transition for Nellie so smooth and pleasant. Please forward this email on to Chris. Hopefully the pictures will come through. So far so good on our first day and night. The only dog Nellie growled at was our pomeranian! Maybe because Holly is the only dog Nellie is bigger than, but not by much. I thought that was interesting. Didn't seem like she cared about the others. Warmest regards, Beth M. Ramsay
Babette She is so beautiful and loving! We are so fortunate to have her as a part of our family. Presley (her big brother) loves her. They get along so well now. Thank you for enriching our lives with Jackie. Sincerely, The Sampsons & Presley.
Curtis You can rest assured, he has definitely found his way into our home, & hearts. That poor little guy is starving for affection, constantly. He doesn't even know how to play. Well, he is learning real fast! In this picture, he took over our Alpha dogs night spot, right next to our bed. He is playing tug with our big Black Lab (Service Dog), which is gentle as a lamb with Curtis (aka Buddy), he answers to Buddy, so he has a new name. We are working on house manners all the time. Especially during dinner time. People dinner time that is. He just wants to dive into our laps, and plates while we are eating. But all in all, getting better every day! Once my hubby uploads his pictures of him, I will send more. Thanks, Lynn Click a letter to find an animal or view all.
