Look at that smile! Nick is always happy to see his people. I believe his name should have been shadow (because he is with me all the time)! Nick Took FIRST PLACE at the Renaissance Festival Shelter Dog dog show in Tampa on 3/23/08! He loves to jump and dance on his hind legs. He is an extremely handsome and loving dog that is only looking for your love! He walks great on a leash!

He loves people and will follow you every where, he longs for lots of attention!!

Nick has an unusual habit of growling - he will do this when an individual first comes into my house or when meeting someone for the first time on a walk. We have taken him to several events and once he is comfortable in his surroundings the growls stop and he is his happy self. His growls have never gone beyond that and he has never shown his teeth or made any type of aggressive move - he actually is more of a submissive dog! However it can be a bit disconcerting to someone that does not know him. He does not behave this way at the dog park and will go up to anyone there. We are working with him on this quirk and hope to resolve this issue.

Just remember no one is perfect - why should we expect it from our furry friends! Nick is one of the best foster dogs I have every had and he truly loves humans with all his heart!
