Luke Thanks for writing. Luke is fine. He is adjusting to his new home. He only barks when the door bell rings. When we come home he is so happy to see us. He hates his morning runs with me but we will continue to work on that. He is such a sweetie . My husband loves to take him for rides were Luke hangs out the window & his ears flap :-) His next vet appt is 2 weeks after kids go back to school. My youngest Nick is so concerned that they won't bond. He is all over him with hugs & kisses. Luke is a cutie with a few bad habits like begging for food, jumping up & jumping on furniture. No big probelms he listens & learns quickly. He really is the best so far & we just adore him. Thanks You guys are awesome & Bless all you do Hi, Just a quick note about Luke. We just love him. He took to us so quick. He loves to run around with his toys in his mouth. He sleeps on his dog bed during the day & at night he sleeps with one of the boys or us. He never barks inless there is someone at the door. He is eating great, He hates his 5 am walks with me but he is getting use to it. Thank you so much & we will send pictures soon.
Shy Shy is doing very good; he's still got a bit of an upset tummy, but I'm sure being moved around and changing puppy food takes a toll on such a little guy! Our other beagle "Rocky" we got last year from TBBR and Shy seem to bea good fit together too, which is great. Thanks so much, Stacy Gibson
Samantha II We apologize for not sending an update for so long, but we figure now would be better than never. We adopted Samantha (also affectionately known as Samsquantcher) in November 2006 and can't imagine life without her. We had two cats previously, but unfortunately they passed within a month of each other, leaving our beagle mix, Rory, without a companion. Well, Samantha fit right in and Rory has a sister, friend and snuggle buddy. We moved to rural Kentucky in April the following year and it's been such a treat for us. The dogs have plenty of room to run around and experienced snow for the first time. We installed a woodstove for heat and they snuggle together on the floor in front of it. Aside from the tremendous shedding and occasional tinkle in the house, Samantha's temperament has suited us perfectly. She also loves toys, but we've learned she must have ones that will stand the test of time as she tears them apart and eats them, leaving her with tummy aches. We've also discovered she's a decent mouser (we found three she killed the other day.) Despite the chagrin of hunters around us that believe beagles are for hunting, Samantha is spoiled, pampered inside dog — she gets under the covers with us at night, sleeps on the furniture and gives us plenty of kisses. She's our special girl and we firmly believe she has extended our lives as well as Rory's. Thank you so much, Joe and Jennifer Castle
Walter Just wanted to write you to let you know how I am adjusting in my new home. Everyday now I have fun. I run and play and sleep a lot. My bud Paul fenced in the yard so I can go out all the time now and we go for rides too. Me and my cousin Sophie love running after each other when she visits. The food here too is great, with lots of treats. You know I think I am beginning to love and trust him more each day. I can't stand it when he goes out without me. And I just jump and jump on him with kisses when he gets back. The only things I don't like are thunder and lightning and the pool. Sophie goes swimming all the time but not me I just watch. Oh well, maybe next summer. Anyway, I am attaching some new pictures of me. I think I've growm up a bit. Love, Walter Click a letter to find an animal or view all.
