Cher Cher seems to be adjusting just fine. She still walks around like she is looking for you. I think she misses you. Here is a picture of Cher and Amber. I will send you pictures of her as she gets more used to her surroundings. It is hard to get a picture of her just standing, because when you stoop down to take her picture she comes to you. LOL. Anyway, you seem to have done a great job with her. Dennis and Amber
Cailin Thanks to TBBR, my family is now a family of 5. Cailin is such a wonderful beagle with so much love to give. It's so hard to believe that she has been with us 6 whole months already and boy has she grown up. She already has learned most of the rules of the house and does really well with them. I am very thankful to the people at TBBR who helped her previous owners find a new home for her.
Chloe II Hello, Sorry that it has been a while but with the holiday it has been grazy.. Here a little note from Chloe.. Hi Fostermom, Thank you for giving me to this wonderful family. I have a blast..I am not sleeping in my crate anymore although sometimes its still hard not to jump into the bed with them, i am learning. I am learning a lot sometimes i follow what they tell me to do because i know i will get a treat but when they just want to give me snuggles for doing something good i don't always listen... I have been to the park several times and am not that scared anymore for other dogs..Also the dog here is very nice we play every day and put up a little show when mommy and daddy are home. I am also doing better with sharing mommy or daddy time i know now that i don't have to be afraid of sharing affection and that they love as much as Diesel.. Thank you foster mommy for finding this family Big licks and barks Chloe ps Happy New Year from Chloe Diesel Hedy and Fred
Clifford Clifford is one special guy. Even after being tossed over the fence at a Collier County Shelter, and left there with abrasions and an injured leg, this special man just wants to give you love and kisses. A total sweetheart to the core. To everyone at Tampa Bay Beagle Rescue: We can't thank you enough for rescuing our Clifford. Even after discovering Clifford was not a Beagle, but in fact a Treeing Walker Coon Hound, you took him anyway. He is the perfect addition to our family!! It has been exciting to watch him go from an abused, malnutrioned, heart worm positive boy to the stong bundle of energy we now have the privilege to call our own. He has put on over 20lbs.since his heart worm treatment in early October. After the initial getting to know each other process he gets along great with our 11 month old Beagle,Chloe. They are inseparable!!! He is very protective of her. Clifford has adjusted very well to our home. He is quite the snuggler---despite his size. He lives for love and affection. Unless of course you are a squirrell. Then you better watch out. His greatest joy in life is our daily walks (or drags) though the park to do what he does best---treeing a squirrell. Even though we initially were looking for another Beagle for Chole---upon seeing Clifford's picture on your web site it was definitely love at first sight. After meeting Clifford at the adoption event in September it just felt right. We knew he was meant to be with us.. New update: 2/25/07We just wanted to give you an update. Jim took Clifford to our vet Friday afternoon. And what great news!! He has tested heart-worm negative!! We are so pleased. He is doing great. We have a dog park near our house. We take Chloe and Clifforrd every weekend. Clifford is the official greeter and policeman of the park. Regardless of size or breed he has learned to interact with all of the dogs that enter. His main goal is to make sure that Chloe is safe. It is amazing to watch the interaction with the other dogs. Despite his rough beginning, what a sweet boy he is. We look forward every day to special Clifford kisses. Thank you again for rescuing this amazing boy. Our babies are wonderful!! We took a look at Leroy this morning. What a sweetie!! We will be there on the 22nd so they can play together. Clifford has been having some continuing health issues. Our vet says this will probably be a constant battle considring his rough start in life. Right now he is very sick with a staph infection. Our doctor thinks it originated from his plastic food bowl. Apparently bacteria lingers in plastic, and no amount of washing removes it completely. We thought he was just dealing with dry, itchy skin. He as recommended that we change to stainless steel. So that is our shopping trip for tomorrow. But typical Clifford, he takes every setback with his usual good natured self. We have never seen a sweeter boy!! Looking forward to playing with all the wonderful dogs you have rescued on the 22nd. Jim and Nancy Click a letter to find an animal or view all.
