Clifford is one special guy. Even after being tossed over the fence at a Collier County Shelter, and left there with abrasions and an injured leg, this special man just wants to give you love and kisses. A total sweetheart to the core. Tami, at Collier County, brought this poor fellow in for a meal, a bath and lots of TLC. She could tell immediately that this special hound was a keeper. To increase his chances of finding a good home, she called Cindy at our rescue. Cindy picked him up and totally agreed with Tami, this is one great boy, friendly and gentle as can be. He is tall and thin, weighing about 50 pounds. That's much bigger than the average beagle, but all that means is there is more to love!! Please give this sweet fellow the chance he deserves. He still trusts us humans even after a very rough start. A true rescue story....Clifford deserves a wonderful, loving home. Come and meet him soon, he is irresistible.

Special Needs: Clifford will begin treatment for heartworms soon. He can be fostered and his adoption finalized once his treatment is completed.


All of our animals are sterilized, microchipped, vaccinated, and tested/treated for heartworm disease before adoption.
