Wilson
Wilson

Hi there, Wilson is quite the innovator. He can jump through open windows and get into anywhere he wants in the house. So far my other Beagle, Gretchen has not caught on. They play fight for hours and then collapse on the bed at night. Wilson has a slight kidney infection, but my vet has him on medication for 3 weeks - should be OK. Bob Harney

Bonnie II
Bonnie II

Bonnie is doing GREAT! and we just love her. Although her new name is Lola - we named them Charlie & Lola. Charlie has his heartworm treatment on Thursday morning so we will let you know how it is all going. I have spoken to Madeleine once or twice to get some beagle advice and she has been great. Thanks for keeping in touch. We will let you know how Charlie is doing next week. Gillian

Ben II
Ben II

Hi Paula and all the Rest! Ben has adapted very well, loves his cage, and has adapted very well to his Brother, Kink. after a week they were seen playing with each other. My neighbors love him to death and he is very mild mannered and gentlemenly. Of my 10 basic commands he is up to knowing 5 and we're working on the rest! He is a great dog and though has an affinity for my socks and the occasional paper plate, these will be things that he will grow with! I enclose some pic's Happy New Year!

Snickers
Snickers

Snickers is doing wonderful. She has been a delight for all of us. She is very well behaved and has not given us any trouble. It seems more like Snickers has adopted me. She follows me around and when I am outside doing yardwork, she has to be near a window to watch. When Jen or Lauren give her a command, she always looks to me before she follows through. All of the dogs in the neighborhood have become fast friends with her as have all the rabbits along our walking path. About the only things she has tried to chase have been a few raccoons and a large grey heron. We will try to bring her out to the event at the end of September so she can socialize with all of the other beagles. As you can see, she enjoys resting as much as playing. You were right when you said that as long as she got at least two 30-40 minute walks as well as several shorter ones each day, she would be a much happier beagle. She also seems to enjoy her bed after her walks. - Jay

Penny IV
Penny IV

Penny is doing great!!! She and our other beagle, Daisy, are playful and like running around together. Penny is a little skittish at thunder and lightning but she perks up after it's gone. We plan to see a trainer about her skittishness to see if we can help her with that. She has been to our vet and gotten acquainted. Thanks for all you did for her! We will send a picture of her later. Thanks, Patti Johnson
