Summer's pup - Purple ribbon
Summer's pup - Purple ribbon

She is the best Pup imaginable! She wasn't to happy about the ride home but it was uneventful thank goodness, she didn't act up or anything was just nervous. Took right to her cage with no problem she would go in and out with any coaxing, we just left the door open, she slept much of the afternoon. About 5 or so yesterday evening she got playfull and we made sure she had plenty of exersice etc as we didn't plan on a full nights sleep but figured if she was really pooped out,it might be better. Well believe it or not that Pup slept (or at least was silent) all night long and as of this morning has had one mistake in the house which really was my fault as I didn't keep her out long enough this morning. Thank you guys so much, this puppy is the best! Sue and I have settled on 'Goldie' for her name. Suzanne making an appt with the Vet as we are VERY SURE she still has worms (Paula told us to expect this) and get her checked out and her shots scheduled etc. Jill she is a great dog and many thanks to both of those ladies yesterday, Paula and I am not sure the other lady ever mentioned her name but both very helpful. I do not think I could do what you folks do, I would keep everyone of those dogs. Mike Patrick **************************** 2nd update **************************** Well it has been 2 almost 3 weeks now and Goldie (Golden Sunshine Patrick) is doing great! She is a handfull though we all start School tonight for probably more people training than Puppy training. Honestly this dog is a good one, she is about 95% house trianed now. We are still having some problems with her Nipping at us hence the Training classes!!! I am afraid my wife is going to spoil her rotten. 2 cages one for in our bedroom for nightime and one for her "Room" in our Sun room and a day bed in the family room more toys than most children own. She really has gotten accustomed to the crate though if things get noisy or she gets tuckered out she can be found in her "ROOM". She has been to the Vets and got a good bill of health I think her next scheluded dose of Shots in right around Thanksgiving. My wifes Dad is really thinking about contacting you guys he has fallen in love with our Goldie. Thank You for a really great Pup!!! I would ask for advice in one area, Goldie has a unique affinity for eating her Poop. We try to divert her attention the instant she is DONE with her business but not always succesfull. IS there a secret to breaking her habit?? Mike Patrick

Things went well picking up 'red ribbon' on Sunday. We have named him 'Maverick' and have begun the crate training already. His first visit to the vet was monday and went well (hes 11.5 lbs already and the vet said he was very smart). He really likes to interact with other animals/people! He's in the teething stage right now and loves nibbling on your fingers/neck/nose/ears. His bite is getting a bit tough now and we are replacing our 'extremities' with his bones whenever he gets roudy. Attached are some pics we have taken, hope you enjoy! - Craig and Emily

Oscar (formerly known as Mason) and Kramer (formerly known as Pepe) are both doing great. They get along wonderfully and both have a terrific disposition. We are using Mary Birrell from Barkbusters to just fine-tune them a bit and they've responded beautifully.I recommend her whole-heartily.Attached are some pictures (The dates on the pictures are wrong). Sorry for taking so long to get back to you. Things are going great with the beagles! I adopted Apollo & Tessa, who we now call Baxter & Lucy. The two of them are so great, and so good natured! Baxter is such a lover and just a big kid! He loves to be snuggled with or just close by me. Baxter will do anything for a treat and has really done well in becoming house trained and knowing commands. He loves walks or just being out on the porch! He surprisingly likes to swim and rolls in the mud every chance he gets! I can't say how much fun and how much I loooove him. Lucy or piggy as we sometimes call her is a very sneaky girl. She loves to snuggle right up to anyone and gives a big smile for a belly rub! Lucy is sneakyas I said! She likes to pester Baxter to get him fired up, or just yesterday she stole my sandwhich while I was typing a paper! Lucy is so so so sweet and likes to follow me around too. I'm in love with her too! They love each other a lot as well. The snuggle, play, and hunt lizards together! They seem so happy to be with me and my sister. It's so much fun to come home from work and get covered in kisses and seeing their tails going a million mph! The only thing that is a problem is...sometimes I am late to work because I can't stand to leave them! Thank you Jill for helping me find 2 amazing puppies to fill my home. Let me know if there is anything I can do to help the TBBR! I haven't made it to a beagle play group yet in Sanford, but I am really looking forward to it. Thanks again! -Wendy Meli
