Ollie
11/21/2023 - On July 5, 2020, I adopted Ollie. I kept the name that was given to him. He was the most wonderful, loving beagle I've even known. Ollie loved everyone, especially children. Even though I live alone, Ollie was a tremendous indoor Beagle and hardly ever barked or demanded attention. The only time we would bark is outside on Friday mornings when the WM trucks would pass. We loved walks and was a totally different beagle inside to outside. Outside he was 100% beagle sniffing and wondering. What was so interesting was that he didn't chase or go after rabbits and in fact when they would pass, both would look at each other and go on. For a "hunting" dog, he respected other animals. Ollie developed a large mass along his stomach and began having digestive problems. Luckily I was able to keep him happy and eating by only giving Ollie soft, digestible food but made a hard decision based on the fact the mass was growing and his quality of life was deteriorating. On Nov 21, 2023, Ollie joined my previous wonderful pets with a wish Ollie will give them all my best with the hope someday we will all be together to celebrate our earthly times together. Bella VI
10/30/2023 - I wanted to reach out to let you know that our sweet Bella crossed the Rainbow 🌈 bridge this past Friday. We adopted her from you in 2010 and cannot express the love and joy she brought us for 13 years. She was originally "Bella VI" and we kept her name as Bella. She had an amazing life that she shared with her 2 beagle siblings Sophie and Copper as well as 4 cats. She never met anyone she didn't like. She loved car rides and especially digging up bugs in our yard. We are forever grateful for the being able to share her life with her and she was truly loved and incredibly missed. She had a few medical struggles throughout her life but always came through, she was a tough little girl. Unfortunately this last struggle with a tumor on her liver was too much for her so we let her go peacefully. We wanted to share how much love she brought us with you.

Tank
10/23/2023 - Tank lost his battle to Cancer on 10/23 .Alumni Tank.

Minnie II
11/17/2023 - So very sad to share we have lost Alumni Minnie, who passed away just a month after her adopted brother Tank.

Sonny
10/21/2023 - Our Sonny developed a brain tumor and after three frightening seizures was put down two days ago. The love and care also happened for his forever but based on his energy level and overall lively participation up to mid-September we thought we would have this sweet soulmate for a couple more years. (Note: we changed the spelling of his name to be more gender specific). After 45+ years together, he was our first Beagle and we now realize why you and the other volunteers of TBBR are so dedicated to this breed. Thank you for entrusting his remaining years to us, we did the best we could to give him the life that he deserved. And he knew that he was loved. Jane Kelly
