Clay 02/12/2008
Clay crossed the rainbow bridge today. Waiting to meet him on the other side were Ivan, Jimmy, Missy, On Time, Kizzy, Parker, Mable, Sarge, Bisquit, Buddy VIII, Boo and all the beagles who have crossed before him. We are so grateful to Jean for her loving care of him in his last days. We both gave him kisses and told him how much he was loved. I played The Broken Road for him on his journey and I am sure Sarge wouldn't have minded sharing "his song." Every long lost dream Led me to where you are Others who broke my heart They were like northern stars Pointing me on my way Into your loving arms This much I know is true, That God blessed the broken road That led me straight to you.......

Mable 02/08/2008
I have to tell you that my beautiful Mable died yesterday; she was bleeding from the mouth last weekend, I took her to the vet on Monday; he thought she had gotten into rat poisoning (which seems improbable, there is no way rat poison would end up in my house), after vitamin K she did not get better so I took her to FVS Hospital; after blood tests they told me that Mable had Owens Syndrome (immune destruction of her red blood cells and platelets); after 2 transfusions, prednisone and an experimental drug treatment (vincristine ) and a lot of love, Mable was losing the blood almost as fast as it was given to her. She died last night at 8:30, and took a part of my heart with her. Having said that, even if I had known last May I would only have 7 months with her I would still have adopted her, she brought so much to my life. God bless your organization! Dooley Kitchin July 9, 1996 to January 13, 2008
In loving memory of Dooley Kitchin. Dooley was 3 months old when he became part of our family. He was the last pup left in the litter. No one wanted him. He was waiting for us to bring him home. All of the people that passed him up missed out on having the best companion anyone could have. Dooley had such a gentle soul that he let us bring a new Beagle into the family when he was 2 and accepted her unconditionally. She would take his toys, bite his ears and legs and he would never try to hurt her. For as gentle as he was, he was a great watch dog. No intruder could ever enter our house without him telling us loudly about it. He made us laugh everyday when they played and chased each other. Our house is quite now since Libby's playmate and companion of 9 years is gone. We miss him dearly and are thankful for the 11 years of joy he gave us. Mary, Sam & Libby Kitchin.

Tiny Bubbles 01/11/2007
Tiny Bubbles was a joy to be around. Loving & talkative, but recently became ill. For those who never knew Tiny you sure missed a wonderful cat. He liked to talk on the phone and chase Terry around in the morning. He was not really a lap cat but did like it if you got on the floor and petted him. He was a little large for a cat 21 pounds but that was fine with me. I know now he is in no pain and one day again we will meet on the rainbow bridge. Until then pal, I love you and miss you. I can still here you voice. May God keep you safe until we meet again!! Love, Mom (Cindy)

Parker 12/26/2007
Parker was hit and killed by a car last week when he slipped out of his collar. How incredibly sad!! *sigh*
