Sasha April 2015
Today, we mourn the loss of our beloved Sasha. Hands down the most loving obedient dog we ever had. We rescued her, and she rescued us right back. She was struck down and killed by an evil red Prius as she was doing what she loved the most, chasing a cat. CURSE YOU EVIL TREE HUGGERS!!! Rest in peace my baby! Sasha Mar 3, 2005 - April 24, 2015. It was really daddy's fault...I am so sorry. My heart is breaking! We thank God and you all for the time we had with her. She had hip dysplasia, but was responding well the last few months with Novox and numerous glucosamine treats. She is in heaven along with all other dogs, as we all know that All Dogs go to Heaven.

Scarlett (Daisy XI)
7/2023 - Hi, I am TBBR Alumni Scarlett's (Daisy XI) mom. I adopted her in June of 2014. I wanted to let you know that she passed away on Wednesday, the 28th. She was about 16 years old we think. She was surrounded by me and her dad and the whole vet staff at our vet. She knew she was loved until the very end. For the last 3 years, Scarlett was going to cold laser therapy and acupuncture appointments. She had degenerative disc disease, but she was a tough cookie. Without this organization, I would have never had my best friend. Thank you for all you do. Maybe in the future, when my heart hurts a little less, we can become fosters or even adopt again. I think we just need a bit of time. Scarlett was one of a kind and loved more than words can describe.

Sherlock
7/23/2024 - Good afternoon, We are saddened to share the news that Sherlock, adopted by my mother-in-law in 2013, was sent over the rainbow bridge today. Sherlock gave my mother-in-law over 11 years of love and happiness. We were told he had been with TBBR for a long time before she adopted him; I think that’s one reason she knew she had to have him! He started slowing down a few years ago, but until 2 days ago, he kept his appetite, and always knew when it was time for a treat of baby carrots or a doggie biscuit. Thank you for all you do for the beagles. You bring happiness to so many. We will be making a donation to TBBR in Sherlock’s memory

Snoopy VIII 04/10/2008
Snoopy became very sick from, perhaps, her heartworm treatment. She went into kidney failure. We did everything possible to try and bring her back around. She was also at the vets last week and the vet then thought she was just fine so this all happened within days. This morning she was suffering and I had to let her go in peace. Now she will no longer suffer. I am completely heartbroken as Snoopy was such a wonderful sweet & loving little girl. May God bless her soul. Paula

Sonny
10/21/2023 - Our Sonny developed a brain tumor and after three frightening seizures was put down two days ago. The love and care also happened for his forever but based on his energy level and overall lively participation up to mid-September we thought we would have this sweet soulmate for a couple more years. (Note: we changed the spelling of his name to be more gender specific). After 45+ years together, he was our first Beagle and we now realize why you and the other volunteers of TBBR are so dedicated to this breed. Thank you for entrusting his remaining years to us, we did the best we could to give him the life that he deserved. And he knew that he was loved. Jane Kelly
