Sassy is very sweet; even on the paper work from the animal control it stated she is very sweet. I think someone on the staff at the AC fell in love with her and worked hard to see that she was saved. They even sent puppy pictures they had of her to our intake coordinator to try and convince him to rescue her. She can melt your heart with her eyes.

Sassy is housetrained and has very nice manners. She waits for permission before she gets on any furniture. She also does not try to take food that is not given to her. Sassy definitely does not have the beagle appetite. 

She is thin and has quite a bit of hair loss due to being neglected, but she will bounce back quickly. 

Sassy is not all beagle, but she is a dog with a lot of love. She will make you very happy if you give her a chance.
