UPDATE:  February 17th Goliath weighed in at 40 pounds!!

Goliath was just surrendered to TBBR through no fault of his own.  He is a handsome hunk of a beagle--weighing in at a whopping 48 pounds!  Needless to say he is on a diet with his foster family, and they have been getting him regular exercise since he arrived a few days ago.  We are having to start out slowly with the walks as he can only make about 20 straight minutes at a time, but he is eager to go!  

Goliath is so interested in food and is very anxious in the kitchen but quick in response to correction and wants to please.  He is getting along well with the other beagles in his foster home and loves the people, to include three teens.  Goliath likes toys!  He doesn't rest a lot and is very mobile while we move about.  He is not your typical slower "senior"!  I can't wait to see his activity level when he loses some of his weight!!
