Huey is a new arrival from Wakulla County, FL along with Dewey and Louie. 

We don't know a lot about his background but there are some clues that he has left behind a less ideal situation and is looking forward to an awesome new home with Tampa Bay Beagle Rescue. Huey's coat is a little thin and coarse and will soon thicken and shine with a steady diet of good food. His ears are infected and sore but the right medications have him improving. He is a little itchy and medicated baths are just what the doctor ordered. 

But it despite the gaps in care, Huey remains as sweet as can be. He just pressed in to his foster dad during his bath, sighing and making it known that the attention was very much appreciated. He has shown himself to be crate trained and loves his meal times there and even the occasional nap. He gets along well with his foster siblings and only makes noise when his people return. 

If if you are looking for a low key buddy to love on, Huey is your guy.
