Sonny is a young male beagle found as a stray in New Port Richey along with another young female (Cher). The family who found them (Sonny & Cher) posted ads, fliers & all but to no avail. They asked us to then take the pair & try to find them a great new home. The two do not seem to be bonded so we will offer them both together or separate. Sonny is so sweet! He has been neutered! Sonny is a roamer so will need either a good stable fence or no fence in his new home with walks only on the leash. He is very low maintenance in any other way! For only being about 2 he is very low key, loves walks (behaves quite well, too!), loves my kids (all young) and gets along beautifully with the other 4 dogs in the house. He listens well when you give him direction and enjoys back rubs and kisses from his humans. He sleeps most of the night in his crate and I don't hear a peep from him. Sonny is a real joy and will make a wonderful addition to any family!!

UPDATE: 12/26/06 Sonny is now down to 1 accident a day!! He also has had several opportunities to escape our yard and has not even tried. I am thinking he realizes now he is in a good place where people are nice to him so he isn't interested in leaving anymore!! He even thoroughly enjoyed a bath this evening. He smells much better!!
