Rio is a tall and sweet girl with long legs and a beautiful face. She loves hugs and likes to snuggle. She is a little undernourished, but we will have her up to a healthy weight in no time. She is energetic and likes to play and run around the backyard with her foster buddy Dusty. She is accustomed to a crate and retreats to it for naps. She doesn't appear to be afraid of loud or strange noises, that was tested with the dishwasher on her first day in our home.

Rio has put on some weight. She is a very active girl, but with a good healthy diet, she has gained 5 pounds. Her ribs are now blanketed and she is gaining some muscle in her legs and chest. She is such a pretty girl!

Treats & Toys - Rio has enjoyed a variety of toys from the toy basket and she is not picky when it comes to treats, as she has happily eaten anything offered. Rio is still a puppy, so we will be working on tricks for treats training and will update as we progess. Update - Rio has learned to fetch! Another update - Rio will now sit for treats. Good girl!

All of our animals are sterilized, microchipped, vaccinated, and tested/treated for heartworm disease before adoption.
