First things first - Kevin is not a beagle, so how did he end up with TBBR? 

Kevin was a stray who had been roaming the neighborhood of one of our volunteers in St Pete. People had tried unsuccessfully to catch him for weeks, even months. Then one day, two TBBR foster beagles were on a walk when Kevin fell into step with them...all the way back to the house. He walked right in the front door like it was no big deal - and never left.

Kevin is a very loving dog although he can still be skittish at times, but he has made great progress since choosing his foster home. He likes to be held, and loves a good nose rub. He enjoys playing with toys and keeps himself busy carrying them back and forth. He is still working to perfect his house-training skills, and will need additional leash training as he manages to free himself from his collar when leashed.

 

All of our animals are sterilized, microchipped, vaccinated, and tested/treated for heartworm disease before adoption.
