This is one Gentle Giant! Yes, Snoop dog is large for a beagle, weighing in at 55 lbs. BUT, that means there is just more of him to love! And you will love this fellow. All he is looking for is someone to pet him and give him some love. He is a very low maintenance beagle, just needing food water and lots of love. He has enjoyed our other young foster beagle & loves toys!

This poor fellow was in a no kill rescue in Miami, understandably, not living in the best of conditions. He was there for so long, and was passed up time after time. Other than his size, he is the perfect beagle boy! We wanted to give this boy the chance he deserves. If you love beagles, you will not want to miss meeting this sweet boy.
1/1/07 Snoop Dog has been with us for a couple weeks now. We have 3 young children, 3 senior beagles & one other foster (Sonny) and Snoop Dog gets along so well with EVERYONE!! He cries when we leave because he only wants to be with us! He is a great watch dog for the famous Houdini (Sonny) because if Sonny escapes the yard Snoop Dog howls until I come running!! He loves his walks with us and always wants to be in the front part of our crowd (and imagine the crowd--2 adults, 3 kids & 5 dogs!!) so as not to miss anything. He is pretty good on the leash but we do use a harness. He can walk for miles and miles! I will try to update the pictures, too.
Snoop Dog is a chewer! I have to make sure the kids haven't left any toys on the floor at night because that is the only time he seems to be looking for something to do. I guess he isn't tired as early as the rest of us!!
1/15/07 Sonny moved on to his new home so Miss Maggie stayed with us for a week. Snoop Dog is so good about other dogs! He didn't think it was too funny that Maggie puppy kept taking his toys, though!! hehe. Snoop is really winning us over because he just is a lovable bear! He rolls right over for you to rub his belly. These pictures do him no justice because he is just THE nicest dog. We truly enjoy his company.
2/1/07 Snoop Dog has been losing weight! He keeps me running on our "walks" because I just can't go fast enough. I will try to update his picture.
