Hershey is a beautiful Chololate tri-Color Beagle between 1 and 2 years old. She is a little shy right now with strangers but warms right up after playng with her for just a little while. We do not have any background information on Hershey but with a little patience and a lot of love she will become a great pet.

Special Needs: Hershey was tested and found to have heartworms. She will need to go through a special treatment that will take about 4-6 weeks. During this time she will need to be kept relatively quiet and calm. Because the rescue is such a busy place with so many dogs ready to play, Hershey needs a foster home to take care of her during her treatment. If you are available to foster her, please let us know right away as we want to begin her heartworm treatment as soon as possible. Once her treatment is successful an adoption could be finalized.


All of our animals are sterilized, microchipped, vaccinated, and tested/treated for heartworm disease before adoption.
