Katie just arrived today! She is a beagle/walker mix....which means she is tall and lean AND might I add beautiful!

Katie was super today on her transport day. She laid patiently in the back of my SUV or squeezed her head in the little space she had over my seat, so she could be close to me. Very, very sweet. She seems to like people very much and did not shy away from anyone she met today. And with all she was through today, that's a great sign. I can see her bonding beautifully and quickly with her new forever person or family.

Katie is one of those dogs that seems to be smiling all of the time...which you will see as soon as I download the pictures! She is active and would like an active person or family to live with. I can just picture Katie going on a nice long walk or run and then coming home to snuggle next to her human companion. She was very loving and seemed almost to bond with me in just a few short hours. This is a great sign that she will transition well into her new home.

This youngster will need basic training. She did like to jump on those she met. But after just a few commands, she was getting down and even sitting for some good petting. I can see this smart girl going to the head of her class!
