Special Needs: Pete was tested and found to have heartworms. He will need to go through a special treatment that will take about 4-6 weeks. During this time he will need to be kept relatively quiet and calm. Because the rescue is such a busy place with so many dogs ready to play, Pete needs a foster home to take care of him during his treatment. If you are available to foster Pete, please let us know right away as we want to begin her heartworm treatment as soon as possible. Once his treatment is successful an adoption could be finalized. ** ALL DOGS ARE SEEN AT ADOPTION EVENTS OR BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. WE RECOMMEND HAVING AN APPROVED APPLICATION ON FILE PRIOR TO ADOPTION EVENTS. **


All of our animals are sterilized, microchipped, vaccinated, and tested/treated for heartworm disease before adoption.
