Lucy Belle came to us from Pinellas County Animal Shelter - she is a six year old owner surrender. There is just so much to love about her! She's the perfect mix of playful and sweet snuggle-bug. She loves her rope toy, and will play with other dogs as well. She is being treated for a skin condition and is already much better! She loves to cuddle, as long as you are with her she is perfectly happy. She was obviously someones house dog, and will plop right down on the couch with you. She loves to run around the fenced yard, appears to be almost house trained, and is learning to use the doggie door.

8/1/13 Update: Lucy Belle's skin condition is under control and she looks great! She is housetrained now, too. She's a calm dog, except at feeding time - she LOVES her food and should probably be fed separately from other dogs, as she eats so fast and might try to eat their food. Lucy Belle loves to go on walks and enjoys running a bit, too.

10/4/13 Update: We think Lucy Belle would be fine with cats. She showed a friendly interest when introduced her foster's cat. The cat, on the other hand, wants nothing to do with the beagles.
