Poor Hattie didn't have it very good in her past life.  She came out of animal control filthy and full of fleas, in need of a spay, cherry eye surgery, and heartworm positive.  Scared and submissive, she cowered at the feet of our volunteer.

A good bath turned her coat all shiny and new again.  TBBR takes care of all her medical needs and that will be done in short order.  Her confidence and personality will come with time and patience and she is already making progress there.

In the house, Hattie seeks out attention and will curl up on the feet of her foster people just to be close to them.  She is learning how to play and be confident around dogs and typical household noises.  She hasn't had any accidents, crates well, and has a healthy beagle appetite.

We think Hattie will do well in just about any setting but a quieter environment may be her preference.
