Scooby Doo was just picked up from Animal Control so we have to learn more about him.

He does have a large scar that runs from his right arm pit to the base of his tail.  While we do not know exactly what happened to him, these types of scars are typically caused by a chemical or thermal burn - acid or hot oil or something similar. The remaining fur he does have is sooo soft and shiny.

Whatever mistreatment Scooby Doo faced before, that is in the past and he has moved on. He is a happy boy with a smile on his face and an ever-wagging tail.  In his first night here in a foster home he has barked a little more than average but we aren't sure if that is just the excitement of getting out of doggy jail.  More to come!
