You may be looking at this girl and wondering how she ended up at a beagle rescue. Every now and then, animal control operations pass along incomplete or inaccurate information and often bad pictures. Well her picture wasn't that clear but it showed a cute face with wanting eyes and we had a hard time saying no.

We don't know much about Renley but we do know her short life thus far has been pretty sad. She is way underweight. Her face and ears show some signs of abuse or neglect. She was covered in fleas and ticks. Her toenails had probably never been trimmed. But you would never know from her amazingly sweet personality that humans had not shown her the kindness she deserves.

Renley loves affection and follows her foster people closely.  She didn't fuss one bit during her lengthy bath or having her nails clipped. She let all the other dogs in the house sniff and play around her and hardly seemed to notice.

In her foster home, she can most often be found curled up next to her humans or sitting patiently in the kitchen watching the activities there.  She is learning how to play and did very well on a recent trip to the dog park, racing around in a game of chase or up for a good round of tussling. Renley has demonstrated good bathroom habits in the house and is perfecting holding it during the day while in a crate.

The best day in her life was the day TBBR didn't have the heart to say, "take her back, she doesn't look enough like a beagle." We look forward to helping to write a great story about her in the near future and we would like you to be a part of it!
