Rocky is the typical beagle, loves people and loves to follow his nose! He is very sweet to all humans, young and old. He is not fond of the crate and will bark to let you know it!
Rocky II has healed tremendously. He still has his staples and you wouldn''t even know it. He has taken his meds and has worn the cone with no fuss. Now as he has healed, this young active dog is quite the happy camper.
Rocky II is quite the sportsman,too. He loves to chase after any critter for amusement (playful) and surely to chase them away...he has brought in a few lizards to prove it! If there's an opposum or squirrel, he will let you know by his hunter's bark and will surely scare them away! He is definitely an outdoors' one. He only comes in the house to eat,sleep, and relax but his 75% is about his trademark (beagle to hunt) and lay in the sun for that extra Vit D.Also, he is quite the protector...any stranger in front of the house will be barked until he greets them and feels comfortable. On the other hand, this well behave pooch loves to play by himself and other dogs. He eats everything is given and will thank you for it...doesn't beg!! He has been trained before because is housebroken, knows how to use doggie door,loves to walk,knows certain commands like sit,stop,no, and will rest next to you if he sees you resting!
The perfect behave dog who loves people has only one dislike...the crate. Be aware, is not a positive concept for him. I am working on it so he can realize is a great traveling and security tool.
Kids...man...this is the one for you! Unless there's a wonderful woman who can handle dried lizards at your feet!..you are good to go. Also, extremely loving dog! He even hugs!
