Rocky came to us from Levy county where he was the center of a big media news story.  His family failed to pay the mortgage and were evicted.  They moved out and left behind Rocky and his two doggie housemates.  Sadly the two other dogs did not survive but  Rocky is a hearty healthy boy and managed to survive until being rescued by animal control.  He was held for a long time as evidence in the sheriff department's investigation and then finally released.  Sadly, despite all the publicity, no one came to give poor Rocky a new home.  The shelter workers begged for a second chance for this extra special boy and TBBR was happy to help give a happy ending to this rescue story.  He enjoyed riding shotgun on his trip to the vet and seems to know this is just the beginning of his "happily ever after."  He is truly a great dog who will make any family a wonderful and loyal companion.  Rocky is in need of a foster or forever home.  Please contact us if you would like to help Rocky.
