Halli is a gem! She was pulled from Polk County Animal Control with her friend Rosey, in need of some attention. Her toenails hadn't been trimmed in ages, her ears were filthy inside, and she had quite an odor. But a clip, a flush, and a really good bath got this pretty girl right back on track! Halli has been quite the charmer in her foster home. She gets along great with her brothers and sisters and had a great time at the dog park. She has demonstrated excellent bathroom habits. She likes toys and attention and meal time. She is crate trained and can often be found spending some quiet time by herself in one of the crates in the house. We are convinced that she smiles as she walks around the house. With all these star qualities, she was surely around people in her earlier life. However, Halli did not get all the medical attention she needed as a young girl. TBBR to the rescue, however! She recently had a short stay at the vet where they were able to spay her, give her teeth some much needed attention, and also perform her heartworm treatment. You can see a little extra bounce in her step already! We have nicknamed her Halli-wood as she is certainly a star, even in her older age. If you want a calm, quiet, quirky, fluffy companion, it's time to meet Halli.
