Utah has very quickly worked his way into the hearts of his foster family.  He has the cutest smile and the softest coat. His face is very expressive and you can tell that he is observing the world around him and trying to learn everything he can from it. His cleverness and cuteness are a lethal combo!

Utah is very smart and picked up on the routine quickly, eagerly going to his crate for meals or a treat, sitting by the door to be let out, or waiting patiently for his leash to be put on.  When he gets excited, he jumps straight up in the air with a huge smile.  That jumping ability is a consideration for his forever home, as he needs a tall fence and a secure yard.  If he gets out, he is a runner - not stopping for verbal commands or hazards so caution is important.

Utah will do well in just about any environment.  He gets along well with other dogs and children.  He has shown an elevated interest in the cat but it appears to be more curiosity than anything else.  He does have a little energy and spunk that would make him better suited for an active household.  He does, however, know how to settle down and loves to snuggle on the couch or in bed.
