Cookie came to us thru Miami Dade Animal Control. We were told she had been hit by a car... We had her x-rayed and treated by a Vet, the Vet's conclusion was she was not hit by a car. But was in a dog fight. She had a hairline fracture of her left front leg. We have medicated her and kept her quite. She now has completely turned around. She was a very scared little thing that was in a lot of pain. She would try to bite if you tried to pick her up.....She now comes up to us for petting and lets us pick her up and enjoys the interaction. She is a very sweet,lovng 13" tri-color, and needs a home that will have the time to bring out the rest of her sweet nature...She is spayed,UTD on shots and heartworm negative. COOKIE WENT TO A WONDERFUL PRE-APPROVED HOME YESTERDAY. SHE WILL BE LIVING IN FT MYERS, WITH A VERY LOVING COUPLE WHO ALREADY HAVE A PLAYMATE FOR HER!!!! DOGS ARE SEEN BY APPOINTMENT ONLY, AND WITH AN APPROVED APPICATION ON FILE.
