Kellie is an amazingly sweet and loving girl. She loves to be held and cuddled and get tummy rubs. She would probably do best in a home where she is the only dog. Probably due to the fact that she has had to care for herself most of her life she is very guarded around other dogs.

Kellie has quite a story to tell! She was left abandoned at her home in Bradford county when her family moved away. She was found by the people who purchased the property. They rented out the property and the renters were providing basic care for Kellie. Then a fire destroyed the home and they moved away leaving Kellie behind once again. But this time Kellie was scared and alone AND she was pregnant! We have no idea how this amazing and resilient girl survived on her own in the wreckage of what remained but survive she did! We received an urgent call from a fellow rescuer who heard about Kellie and our president immediately drove up to Starke, FL to rescue a very pregnant Kellie. She immediately went to a loving foster home and a few days later, on Christmas day, delivered her 4 beautiful puppies. She has been a wonderful mother to her babies who have all found their forever homes. Kellie is now looking for a forever home where she will be loved and pampered and never ever be left behind again!
