Delilah is a highly spirited girl who is brand new to the rescue. She is very friendly with people and wants to play, run in the backyard and be petted. When she wags her tail, her whole body wiggles with excitement. She is a good girl who wants to please but will benefit from basic obedience training. She seems smart and should learn fast. She just gets so excited and is learning not to jump and not to pull on the leash. She is crate trained and sleeps with the crate door wide opened. She also appears to be housebroken and has not had a single accident in her foster home. She was a little cautious around my own beagles when she first arrived, but seems to be warming up to them well. She is still fed in a separate area as she gets so excited at mealtime.
