Maggie is a pretty beagle girl who is soooo lucky! She was found on the highway of a rural area near the Florida/ Alabama line by a very nice man who runs a Golden Retriever rescue. She narrowly avoided being hit by a semi when he saw her. Lucky for her he stopped immediately and picked her up. She appears to be housebroken and comes and goes outside through the dog door at her foster home.
This beautiful girl also has a GREAT little personality. She is very smart and learns very quickly. She has bright eyes and wagging tail all the time! She is gentle and calm and is a real snuggle bug. She is very low maintenance ~ just a good head or tummy rub and she is a happy little clam! She does like to run around the yard with the other 2 dogs at her foster home and gets along great with everyone. She walks VERY well on a harness/leash and really enjoys going for walks with the rest of the pack. She is pretty quiet and has not done any barking or baying at her new foster home but once she settles in a little more she may find her beagle voice!
This girl seems to be about as perfect as it gets and would be a terrific companion for anyone!
