Samson is a sweet little pup who we think is likely a beagle/walker mix. He has a very beagely face with slightly longer legs and may be taller than your average beagle when fully grown. He was found by a wonderful good samaritan after he had been attacked by a larger dog or animal. There is even some suspicion he may have been used as a bait dog. He sustained a wound to the top of his muzzle and a smaller wound on his body. He has received wound care from the vet and everything is healing up nicely. He was recently neutered and his nosed was scoped and everthing checked out A-OK with his nose. He does have sutures in his wound that will need to be removed in another week.
UPDATE: November 3, 2007 I have arrived and everyone in my foster home knows! Shy? They say I am shy? That must have been a while ago! I am a crazy, wild, happy beagle boy (OK--I am a little tall but foster mom says I act just like a male beagle puppy!) and I am ready to play, play, play. I appear to be housebroken & crate trained! What a bonus that is. I do have very sharp teeth that I like to use because I am still teething so watch those little kiddies--I don't mean to hurt-but I sure like toes & long hair on girls. :-) I will pick up anything on the floor & chew it so I must be in a picked-up area so you don't get mad at me. I am the cutest thing on 4 legs and love to play with other dogs so please make sure your other dog wants an active friend!!
