Beagle : : Female (spayed) : : Adult : : Small
Nutmet was rescued from a very cold high kill shelter in northern Florida. She ended up there after being taken from a hoarding situation and she sat in the shelter for 2 long months. She is a little timid but very sweet and so badly wants to be affectionate and playful. She has made such a transformation in a short 24 hours -- in the shelter she was sitting in the corner trembling and scared but is quickly becoming playful and slowing learning to trust us. She is already jumping up to play and give kisses and she especially loves to roll over for a belly rub. In another week we expect she will be a totally different dog! She is catching on to the housebreaking thing and is a very quiet girl. She loves the company of other dogs and would do great with a canine companion. Fortunately she is heartworm negative and just needs to be spayed before she can go to her new home.
