Why am I still here?? My foster family has NO idea--I am SUCH a great, great dog! (Mind you--they are not complaining!!) Jake is probably one of the best behaved beagles I have EVER fostered. He loves other dogs, people, cats, kids--you name it. He is completely house trained and has never had an accident. He is sweet & loving & prefers to sleep on the bed with my daughter. He is well behaved in the kitchen and during meal times. Jake is not overly active--yet still likes to rip through the house when the nerve hits. He loves to go for walks.
Jake has minor arthritis in his rear legs and suffered a torn ACL on his back leg. This doesn't slow him down much and it seems to be doing much better.
Jake is not a barker--unless you take him to the dog park! He likes to bark at the big dogs there. He does NOT do this at home or on our walks and loves to play with the labs down the road when given the chance!
Jake is THE perfect beagle.
