A good samaritan pulled Huckleberry from the shelter in Texas because she was told he was going to be put down! Huck has been in his foster home now for a while & has adjusted beautifully! He is well behaved in the house, a good boy outside & GREAT on the leash. Huckleberry has little to no vision so must depend on you to get him around your house until he learns where everything is. In his short time here he has done beautifully! He gets along very well with the other 4 beagles and loves my kids. Mostly, he loves me--and the feeling is mutual! I enjoy hanging out with him because he is so mellow. Our walks together are so easy--I forget he can't see sometimes! I do believe he would get along with cats as he is low key. The only thing Huck needs is some basic obedience when it comes to kitchen manners--he definitely has the beagle nose and uses it to sniff out dinner! Huck is a real joy & great foster addition to our home-please give him the chance he deserves to show you he will love you, too!
