Romeo is another economy victim ~ he was turned in to animal control by his owner who could no longer afford a dog.  Poor Romeo was saddened to lose the family where he was once loved and thought he was safe.  He is so happy in his new foster home and seems to love everyone!  He knows the tricks sit and paw. He loves eating more than most!
He is an excellent squirrel hunter and would climb a tree to get a squirrel if he could.  He is housebroken and is fully of energy and his foster mom says he is very loving and would be a great addition to any family.

2-1-10 UPDATE.  Romeo is a really good-natured little guy. He gets along okay with the other dogs, but humans clearly are more important to him... that and food, of course! He loves to cuddle and can get frisky and playful - especially with a towel!  He wags his tail a lot!! He is so happy! He sleeps well in his crate but does better if it's partially covered. He is fully house broken, enjoys walks outside and has learned to use the doggie door, but he prefers to be where the humans are. He is an easy and loving companion.
