Sandy once belonged to an elderly owner who mostly kept her outside alone in the yard.  She was frequently escaping from the yard due to boredom and being picked up by neighbors and taken to the local veterinary clinic where he owner would eventually come pick her up.  She was frequently found infested with fleas and ticks.  The last time she was picked up running loose her owner decided she did not want her back and surrendered her to the vet office.  This could have been bad for Sandy but lucky for her we had a foster spot open up for her and suddenly her luck began to change!!  Her foster mom thinks she is FABULOUS!!  She is such a good girl and wants so badly to be a part of the family and be loved and cared for.  Will have better pics of this cute girl soon and more info on her as we get to know her better.
