This very handsome beagle came to our Rescue yesterday with Leonardo. He too has found a wonderful foster home - just in time for Christmas. We will input information on this sweet little guy as soon as we get it.
Christmas day update from foster Mom Lynn: Adonis has been a Christmas blessing! He is one of the easiest fosters we've ever been blessed to take in. Introductions to 8 other dogs (7 bigger than him)  went smooth as butter because his dog manners are very good. He is playful with the dogs that want to play and respectful of those who don't. He is gentle and sometimes a little cautious and after some initial observation, we decided to trust him at night AND during the day when we leave for work without crating him. No problems!  But to be safe, we put the garbage can up high. Donny (sorry, we just don't seem to be able to call him Adonis) is a typical beagle when it comes to food, and that's probably his only rough spot. He loves toys but hasn't gotten into any trouble with the other dogs over them. But feeding time and treat dispensing need to be handled wisely. He seems to prefer being in the house even though we have a dog door and he knows he can go outside whenever he wants. Good thing we have a ramp off the deck though, because he doesn't seem to want to use stairs. He has picked out his night time sleeping spot and pretty much stays put until it's time to cuddle at wake up time. He is SO soft!!! Just a loving and sweet little guy that is an absolute pleasure to have around. Absolutely!!
