Portly is a mild mannered 4 year old boy.  He is generally quiet and loves to be near his people.  He gets spurts of excitement but they never last long.  Portly gets along well with other dogs but has not been tested with cats.  He enjoys sitting on the couch with you and snuggling up whenever he has the chance.  In fact, he will be everywhere you are. Personal space isn't a thing to him.  If you want a best friend who is always at your side, Portly is your dog.  He is good in a crate.  He is housebroken if you take him out regularly.  

Portly is heartworm positive.  He can be adopted during treatment if the adopter is local to Tampa Bay and is willing to transport him to his vet visit. 

All of our animals are sterilized, microchipped, vaccinated, and tested/treated for heartworm disease before adoption.
