Bogie is a very sweet 7-year-old lemon boy.  He was adopted from TBBR and was returned to the rescue since his current owners went into an assisted living facility. 
He is an extremely loving and affectionate little boy. He is quiet, but his howl is loud when he talks.  He is like an old soul. He loves being on your lap or at least beside you. He has endeared himself to everyone he meets.  Homer/Bogie would do well in a home with small children because he is very gentle. 
He loves to go for walks, hunt in the backyard (as you can see from his dirty nose in the photograph :)), and ride in the car. He is not very playful, but he does like the company of other dogs. 
Bogie is use to having people home most of the day. His previous owners were retired and his foster parents are retired too.
Bogie has three-year vaccinations for both his rabies and the DHPP. He also had a dental this past year. When he was adopted he weighed 32 pounds, but now he weighs 38 pounds so he will need to trim down a bit. 
He is so sweet, won't you give him a new home? 

All of our animals are sterilized, microchipped, vaccinated, and tested/treated for heartworm disease before adoption.
