Pookie is a gentle 8 months old boy who's playful and energetic yet sweet and snuggly.  Need a friend to sit with you on the couch? How about a jogging partner or a friend to keep you company wherever you go? Pookie is all of those.  When he needs to run (which is often), he'll put any greyhound to shame.  He plays fetch, loves snacks, and is always down for a car ride.  He's social and loves to playing with other dogs.  He likes cats too although they don't always like him back.  He's smart enough to back off.  He loves walks and is very curious of the world around him.  His nose is keen and will sniff out any friend or foe.  He'll even let you know when there's someone around who is stranger danger.  

Pookie is fully housebroken, crate trained, and knows basic commands like sit, come, bed, inside, drop it, and lay down.  He walks on a leash well but will walk you when he gets a whiff of something interesting.  Pookie has a lot of energy and will require a family that can keep him busy.

All of our animals are sterilized, microchipped, vaccinated, and tested/treated for heartworm disease before adoption.
