Willie is a real sweetheart. He loves to snuggle and get belly rubs. He will come and lay his head over his foster mom’s heart, then push under her chin with his head to ask for more petting.
He is always nearby one of the humans. He is polite to the other two beagles in the house but not interested in playing. His potty training is impeccable – he will lie near the back door when he wants out, and bay when he wants back in. He seems especially attracted to his foster dad, and hangs out near him, and looks for opportunities to get in his lap. He has a light appetite. He does not seem to like canned dog food, and he prefers dry food. He will take treats and chew sticks. He avoids going in his crate even to eat. He is given free range of the house, except that the entry by the front door has been blocked with baby gates so that he cannot interact with any strangers who come to the front door.
