Sassy is a nearly 3-year-old beagle with a heart full of potential. She’s currently living with her foster beagle brother and a cat, and while she’s curious about her feline roommate—sometimes a little too curious—she means no harm. She’ll give a low growl and charge at the cat out of excitement, but it’s more about figuring him out than anything else.
When it comes to other dogs at the dog park, Sassy can be a little startled if they approach too quickly, often letting out a vocal yelp before getting her bearings. Once she's settled, she’s fine and is ready to play!
Sassy does exhibit some resource guarding when eating and prefers to have her space when she’s resting. Respecting her boundaries will go a long way in helping her feel safe and secure. Sassy will thrive best in a calm, understanding home where she can build confidence at her own pace.
