Daisy Mae is a working dog. At least, she thinks she is. 
From sunup to sundown, she is running around outside to keep all the lizards in check and to be on top of everything that is going on around her. She is lucky her foster dad is outside so much and she can be his buddy. 
She is affectionate, but she is a bundle of energy. Daisy is an alpha dog and will sometimes greet other dogs with a growl. When she came to the foster home she gave one growl to the other dogs and since they did not react, she has not growled since. 
She was overweight, but she did great on her diet and lost 10 lbs. She still is a beagle in her so if cookies are left on the coffee table without supervision, they will not be there when the people come back. 
She is also strong and will pull on a leash. 
Daisy sleeps in a chair at night, does well in a crate, and comes when she is called. In fact, she listens pretty well for a beagle. :) 
Daisy has lots of great years ahead of her. Won't you consider giving her a home for the holidays?
