Gertie came from a hoarding situation where she was bred for puppies but not given a lot of human interactions.
She is adorable. She has the cutest face and we think she has some basset hound in her to account for those short legs and long body.
Gertie is afraid of people. She loves other dogs. Her being next to a calm dog gives her strength. To be adopted, she will need another dog in the household. She would like to be a bed dog and when she is up on a bed, a person can usually get a little petting in. 
She also loves the way she looks in the mirror. In the picture, she jumped from the bed to the dresser to look at that good looking gal in the mirror. 
Gertie will take a lot of patience and work, but she will reward you with her love. Won't you adopt her?
