Eliza II is a very high energy beagle mix. Eliza first comes off as very timid around people she doesn’t know, and if cornered or picked up may nervous pee. Once she gets to know you she is a happy dog that is all about kisses and playing.

Eliza likes to stay near her human and would be best with someone who is more active. She also loves playing with her sister, Peggy, enjoys playing tug, and running around outside.

Eliza is still a puppy and has the standard puppy behaviors- trying to chew things, playful nibbling, and is still learning a lot but does respond to the word “no” most of the time. She doesn’t bark or whine much, just a quiet whine when she needs something.

Eliza loves her crate and is usually very quiet while crated. While walking she likes to walk by your side and tends to “herd” you by walking in circles.

 

Eliza doesn’t need to be adopted with her sister, but really enjoys playing with other dogs so it’s recommended that she is socialized often or is in a home with another dog. 

All of our animals are sterilized, microchipped, vaccinated, and tested/treated for heartworm disease before adoption.
