Jack is a handsome, sweet  beagle mix. He has alot of energy and is still learning to relax and trust the humans in his foster home. Jack gets along well with all the other dogs in his foster home, especially his friend Ivey that he arrived with. Jack also takes treats very daintily and can sometimes be coaxed into howling!

Jack does like to run and play in the backyard and is something of a hoarder of things that he picks up around the house. Jack is going to have to be in a home where he has a crate to feel safe in. He is also going to need his new family to be very patient with him as he adjusts to a new home. His adjustment time will be a few weeks at least. 

Jack does come when called and will  need lots of work walking on a leash. It looks like he may have worn a muzzle during his life but we don't know much about his past. He still shows some fear based behaviors, but every day he comes out of shell a little bit more. Jack has a bubbly personality once you get to see the real him.

All of our animals are sterilized, microchipped, vaccinated, and tested/treated for heartworm disease before adoption.
