Kyra escaped from a puppy mill after giving them several litters and found herself at Animal Control where she was rescued by a wonderful family who loved her so much and where she thought she had found her forever home. Sadly the landlord would have none of it and demanded she be gone!! Luckily the owner found us and are we glad she did. Kira is very sweet young lady who would like a quiet home where she can stay forever. We do know that she is good with small children and other dogs. More to come as we get to know her. UPDATE: Apr. 16th; It has been a great pleasure fostering Kyra! She seems to be housetrained as she has not had a single accident in the house and lets you know when she needs to go out. She is still frightened of loud noises, but recovers quickly. Kyra loves being with the family and loves the grandkids!! She is very quiet and easy going and gets along great with my brood of small and large dogs! She does seem to be much older than her years because she plays with the dogs only a little. She loves her walks but needs a little more training as she still pulls but what good hound dog doesn't? She would make a wonderful addition to your family!!!
