Ruger is the sweetest little boy! He loves running and exploring the backyard, playing with his foster brothers, and chewing on his favorite toy lobster, but his favorite pastime is being loved and snuggled by his humans.

Ruger  does well in a crate, (sleeps through the night in one and spends unsupervised time in one) and is mostly housetrained, although he may tinkle accidentally if he gets too excited. He likes to chew, so make sure he has lots of toys to play with so that he doesn't mistake your toys for his.  He is great with other dogs and cats, and would make a great addition to a family that has other pets. Ruger loves the outdoors, so a home with a fenced in yard where he can roll in the grass in the sun would be ideal.

All of our animals are sterilized, microchipped, vaccinated, and tested/treated for heartworm disease before adoption.
